Centre
for
Protein
Science and Crystallography was established in 2005
by the Department of Biochemistry of CUHK. We employ multi-disciplinary
techniques including protein engineering, biophysical characterization,
and X-ray crystallography to study the structure-function relationship
of proteins. The Centre houses the first state-of-the-art X-ray
crystallographic setup in Hong Kong for high-resolution protein
structure determination. Our aim is to provide a platform to
promote collaboration on structure-function research of proteins within
the local community.
