3D Electron Microscopy of Organelles and Macromolecules (EMOM) is a 2-day workshop as part of the CUHK Research Summit Series. EMOM features invited talks, poster presentations, and demo sessions with a newly-installed cryo-electron microscope.

The purpose of this workshop is to bring together leading scientists and postgraduate students to exchange the latest advances of cell and molecular biological research made possible with the emerging techniques of cryo-electron microscopy, electron tomography and correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM). By organising the event in Hong Kong, we also hope that the meeting will promote research activities involving these advanced electron microscopy techniques here.
