- Bring
healthy, easy to carry snacks (e.g. apple or
plain crackers) to school instead of buying
chips, sweets at your school tuck shop.
-
Keep lots of fresh fruit at home so you can
easily have at least two every day. (Buy more,
eat more!)
- Don't
store too many less healthy snacks at home.
(Buy less, eat less!)
- Don't
snack when doing homework or watching TV.
- Try
doing more exercise, playing chess with friends,
singing or other activities instead of snacking
when you are bored. Or, you can choose fruits
as snacks.
- Choose
more fresh and natural snacks (e.g. whole grain
bread, fresh fruits, sweet corn and sweet potato,
etc).
- Choose
less processed snacks (e.g. soda, potato chips
and sweets).
