5. Other software for viewing protein structures

RasMol - Written by Robert Sayle. RasMol can be regarded as the
standalone version of Chime. In fact, part of Chime is based on RasMol.
More information on RasMol and Chime can be found here.

WebLab Viewer - developed and distributed freely by Molecular
Simulation Inc. It is less powerful than RasMol but have many goodies
for creating beautiful illustrations.

MAGE - another viewer for 3D molecular structures. A couple of biochemistry
textbooks have used MAGE to create teaching materials. More information
