    Prof. Jack Wing Tak Wong, obtained the New Investigator Award on 4 November 2012, from the Council on Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Metabolism, American Heart Association (AHA) for his research on “melamine impairs renal and vascular function in rats” which was funded by Hong Kong Food and Health Bureau.
